Welcome to our community-funded and community-run website, dedicated to the vibrant community of Esgenoôpetitj, meaning 'Lookout Point.' The Mi'kmaq people of Esgenoôpetitj have called this land home for generations

    Located along the picturesque Bay of Miramichi, our reserve is not only renowned for its stunning natural beauty but also serves as the most populated within our community.

    The bay’s serene waters and scenic landscapes create a welcoming environment, making it a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike.

    With a rich cultural heritage and a growing community, this land stands as a cornerstone of both tradition and progress.

  • Tabusintac

    Nestled in the heart of the Tabusintac River, this location boasts unparalleled natural beauty, featuring an abundance of majestic Birch trees and a tranquil, scenic environment like no other.

  • Pokemouche

    Situated in close proximity to the Pokemouche Golf Course, this site will soon be the future location of our Casino & Resort. The land remains undeveloped and is devoid of residential structures, offering an abundant display of natural landscapes, including numerous beaver dams and wildlife.
